Stephen L. Vecchitto

Managing Director

Mr. Vecchitto founded Advenir, Inc. in 1996 and serves as its Managing Director. In 2024, Advenir joined forces with Azora, a private equity firm based in Madrid, to create Advenir Azora, which operates as a multifamily real estate investment, development, and management company. Advenir Azora currently controls and owns over 14,000 units, with these real estate assets valued at more than $3.3 billion. The company generates over $230 million in annual revenue and has a workforce of more than 350 employees. Headquartered in Miami, Florida, Advenir Azora also has offices in Atlanta, Houston, Denver, Tampa, and Orlando. Stephen Vecchitto plays a crucial role as Managing Director, being a member of both the Investment Committee and the Board of Directors, where he contributes to the strategic direction of the firm.

Mr. Vecchitto founded VSM, LLC, a certified public accounting and financial services firm based in Hartford. Under his leadership, the firm expanded to include 40 professionals and achieved recognition as the fifth largest private firm in Hartford. As the Managing Partner, he played a pivotal role in establishing and developing the litigation support division, with a focus on mergers and acquisitions. Additionally, he earned certifications as a Certified Fraud Examiner and became an Accredited Member of the Association of Appraisers, specializing in business valuation. His expertise allowed him to qualify as an expert witness in both State and Federal courts. In 1996, Mr. Vecchitto sold the firm, concluding a successful chapter in his career.

Mr. Vecchitto continues to be a strategic advisor to businesses and high net worth individuals.

Mr. Vecchitto dedicates much of his spare time and is very active in the business community at large and philanthropy. He is an Associate Board of Director for Apartment Life, is co-chair to the Miami Board of City-to-City and is a Cornerstone Member of Make-A-Wish Foundation in Florida.

He is a man of faith, father of two daughters and the proud grandfather of seven grandchildren who all live in Hawaii.
